Spotlight on homegrown cinema
CANADA | 85 minutes | 2016
A strange, fascinating abstract film about deep surveillance by Canadian activist artist Stephen Shellenberger. One day, a thoroughly ordinary man finds himself under Black Ops surveillance. What starts as a paranoid nightmare soon morphs into a bold abstract experimental film. Canadian activist artist Stephen Shellenberger, who endured a similar ordeal more than 20 years ago, self-financed this semi-improvised and wholly engrossing, mindbending work.
