The Canadian pioneer of digital documentary gives an overview of her career initiatives. Two-time Emmy winning documentarian Katerina Cizek takes a look back at her life’s work in co-creative media-making. Using clips and stories, she charts her personal, political and technological transformations from her early independent days to the National Film Board of Canada, where she helped redefine the organization as one of the world’s leading digital content hubs. She pioneered interactive, 360-degree, open-source and immersive storyworlds with two landmark projects, Filmmaker-in-Residence and Highrise.
