For 10 days, some 40 selected filmmakers joined by 300 accomplices will be tasked with setting up, shooting, editing and screening the short films they produce within a 72-hour timespan.
Now in its 15th year, Kino invites participating artists to question the rules that govern creativity and the status quo of today’s cinema. Kino Kabaret will be their Salon des Refusés where anything goes: taboo subjects, untouchable characters and prohibited genres. The results of this creative lab where total freedom reigns will be presented during a series of festive, cabaret-flavoured screenings.
