QUEBEC, Canada | 93 minutes | 2016

Olivier Godin plays with words in the mouth of a poet- ry-mad policeman. A policeman who teaches poetry to his squad, a precious bible annotated by a ship’s captain, a bandit under surveillance who can’t leave his apartment and an enigmatic girl named Coriandre: welcome to the off-the-wall world of Olivier Godin. A xture at the FNC (winner of best short lm for La boutique de forge and Feu de Bengale), he takes inspiration for his latest opus from Quebec folk tales and the works of the late novelist Jacques Ferron.
