The 1990s in Estonia: a carefree time of unabashed machismo. Boozing, macho behaviour and nonchalance are at the core of this testosterone-soaked first feature directed by a 28-year-old woman. With a nod to Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused (1993), this Estonian film follows the adventures of a group of burnouts, happily living dissolute lives. After a serious accident, the group’s leader starts thinking seriously about his future.
