You thought Switzerland was all mountain pastures, cheese, knives, watches and chocolate? Not a bit! Switzerland also overflows with stunning works of cinema. It is with great pleasure this year that we present a special lineup of short films highlighting the quality and diversity of Swiss creative artists. We’ve done so by skimming the cream off our partner festivals: Locarno, the Geneva International Film Festival Tous Écrans, the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and Solothurner Filmtage. A collaborative lineup, then, and one that’s full of surprises!
This evening, the drama school graduate students are performing their solos. Lola is there, somewhat reluctantly, as a friend has asked her to come. However, her friend doesn’t turn up. Lola is left sitting alone in the theatre, waiting. Then the lights go out.
