Traditional beliefs persist in a community of child shepherds. Beware the big bad Kashmiri Wolf that walks about on two legs! Set in a Kashmiri mountain hamlet where children tend the sheep and goats as they ward off predators, Wolf and Sheep is a delicate yet disarmingly accurate chronicle of relations in a community where gossip can destroy lives. The rugged beauty of the landscape is matched only by the impressive direction of her non-professional cast by this young Afghani filmmaker, part of whose childhood was spent in just such a remote village.
