QUEBEC, Canada | 78 minutes | 2016

In your face braces, off-the-wall humour, anarchy and lyricism, youth is in revolt. Beware the pranks!

DIRECTOR AND CREW WILL BE PRESENT

“…leaves us unnerved and ambivalent as it paints a brutally funny portrait of teenage boredom and cruelty.” Toronto Film Festival

“…the bastard child of Harmony Korine’s Trash Humpers (2009) and Todd Solondz’s Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995)…” Cinemascope

Following on his acclaimed shorts Les fleurs de l’âge (2010) and Une idée de grandeur (2015), cinematographer Vincent Biron moves into the feature format with this cruelly funny coming-of-age saga about a teenaged loner recruited by three pranksters who record their practical jokes on their smartphones. Prank chronicles the hijinks of this likeable foursome, a jumble of angst, braces and crazy imagination. (Stéphane Defoy)
