For a few moments, their pain becomes tangible. Concealed behind 20-foot prison walls on the margins of cities, thousands of people are detained indefinitely. In this psychological pressure cooker, they desperately attempt to prove why they should be allowed to stay in the UK. The film gives a voice to those with firsthand experience of being incarcerated as it exposes the realities of a detention system that strips away identity, further damaging society’s most vulnerable members.
