Vocalist, producer and composer Emily Wells is known for both her eclectic use of classical and modern arrangements and her deft approach to live sampling. Her music snakes between future classical, downtempo hip hop, welloiled blues and spectral folk. While she can be heard on movie soundtracks (Stoker), the best way to enjoy her work is by catching her onstage, where the New York artist has free rein to express her boundless genius.
